Journey to Courage

We are in the midst of an anxiety epidemic that knows no boundaries. It affects the young and the old, male and female, Christians and non-Christians. In fact, nearly one in five adults in the United States is diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. You are not alone in this struggle. Many Christians grapple with anxiety.

Journey to Courage is a multifaceted guided group Christian Formation program that offers theological, biblical, and spiritual principles and applicable strategies and practices as a roadmap from anxiety to empowerment and fulfillment.

Intentionality matters in promoting life change. When we cooperate with God, we can confidently hope for a life of fullness in Christ. So, I invite you to join other Christians and take the first step on your Journey to Courage.

About Me

Dr. Hye Sook Jackie Kang was born and raised in South Korea and pursued higher education in the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Education from the City University of New York and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Hofstra University.

With more than two decades of experience in New York State public education, including five years in administrative leadership, Dr. Kang brings a strong background in teaching, mentoring, and organizational development. She later earned her Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary and her Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary, focusing on spiritual renewal and leadership formation.

Dr. Kang is a seasoned educator, pastor, and leadership coach dedicated to equipping others for effective service and personal transformation. She serves as a speaker, teacher, spiritual director, and author, committed to developing leaders for God’s Kingdom.
